a) It was created by a recruitment agency for you
If at some point you sent your CV to a recruitment agency that is iProfile compatible they will
have converted it into an iProfile for you so that their IT systems can read it and they can more
accurately match you to jobs. You can check which agency on ’My Connections’ page.
iProfiles are only ever built from an original CV, which means your iProfile won’t have been created
by an agency downloading your CV from a job board’s database.
Note: Most agencies automatically extract information from CVs and enter it into a searchable
database. The difference with the iProfile is that you’re given instant visibility and control over how
your information is displayed to recruiters. Remember, it’s your iProfile and you can choose to block an
agency from viewing it at any time.
b) It was created when you applied for a job through a job board
If you applied for a position that was advertised on a job board by an agency that is iProfile
compatible, they will have converted your CV into an iProfile for you so that their IT systems can read
it and they can more accurately match you to jobs. You can check which agency on ’My Connections’ page.
c) You sent your CV to or registered with one of partners
If you sent your CV or registered with one of our partners, they will have created an iProfile for
you so that you can benefit from having an online CV in a format preferred by leading recruiters
and employers as well as control over the job seeking process. You can check which
company on ’My Connections’ page.
